Where Were You When Deshaun Watson Went “Ham”

I'm about to go HAM

If you know anything about football, or college football in particular, you know that Alabama Crimson Tide is “THE” team to play for. Alabama’s rich history of winning is well documented in the sports world and recent years have been no different. Before Monday, Alabama had won four of the previous seven National Championships…But forget all that because Deshaun Watson and the Clemson Tigers pulled off the THE GREATEST COMEBACK IN THE HISTORY OF COMEBACKS.

This game had everything you need. BIG HITS, BIG RUNS, TOUGH CATCHES, and a very Vince Young-esque ending. Deshaun Watson showed the world that he is a star and became a legend over night. What’s most interesting is that Deshaun called it! That’s right he tweeted in 2012, “If I get a chance to play in a national championship game, Imma go ham.” And HAM is what he went. He threw for 420 yards, 2 passing touchdowns, and 1 very impressive rushing touchdown. After a sluggish start, Deshaun put his talents on full display on Monday night and I won’t be surprised if his game landed him as the top pick in the 2017 NFL Draft.

I must admit that I was rooting for Deshaun and the Clemson tigers to pull out the win after the incredible 2016 Championship Game, where they lost to Alabama. After a sluggish start, I honestly got nervous. Then I got upset. Then Deshaun went HAM and the rest of the night is history. Hopefully this championship game is the beginning of a year filled with great sport contest.

…by the way, we encourage you all to peep those hyperlinks. HAM.
